Placenta encapsulation is one of the more odd things I have done in my life, but I think it has helped me tremendously and I am so glad I had you do it! It has helped boost my milk supply, slow my PP bleeding, and I have not had any baby blues this time around! I feel like I have a secret weapon that other moms don't have! You were fast and efficient and you left my kitchen spotless. I also really enjoyed your company as it dried.

After our birth Amy stayed to start the process of encapsulating Lylah's placenta. I started taking the capsules 3 days after Lylah's birth. So far I feel that it has really helped in my post-partum recovery. A week after Lylah's birth I can say without hesitation that I felt great! I found my recovery with my two earlier pregnancies were very long. After this birth I feel fantastic physically and mentally and attribute much of my quick recovery to the help and services that Amy provided to me and my family.

Our midwife recommended encapsulation after our birth because I was feeling a little 'out of it' and we said 'sure.' Couldn't hurt. Really, I think it was great. I was so happy throughout my postpartum period, and I healed quickly. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to friends and family. Also, it was ready so soon without arrangements ahead of time and the dehydrated umbilical cord is so neat! Thank you so much!

We had considered placenta encapsulation before the birth but then decided against it since this was our first baby and we didn't think there would be any postpartum depression. We had even thought about doing it ourselves but knew that she would need them soon after the birth and that we wouldn't feel up to it. However, Erica lost a little more blood than normal at the birth and so our midwife mentioned the encapsulation as a precautionary measure. This was one of the best things we did. Amy had the capsules ready for us quickly, and Erica didn't suffer from postpartum depression and I felt she made a speedy recovery.

I decided to encapsulate my placenta because I have struggled with depression in the past and spent many years trying different medications with minimal results. When I heard that I could use this amazing organ that my own body created as a way to potentially help me with the baby blues I jumped at the idea. Encapsulating my placenta is the most natural way for me to deal with post-pregnancy hormonal shifts and the baby blues. I would absolutely do this again and I am going to recommend this to both family and friends. I am even considering becoming an encapsulation specialist myself! Thank you so much Amy!

At the recommendation of my birth doula I contacted Amy to encapsulate my placenta. She drove to my house in a foot of snow, which took close to an hour, to pick up the placenta. Even though we had never met she went this extra mile for me. She returned the next day and provided me with the capsules and dried pieces exactly the way I requested. She went through directions with me and sincerely offered to answer future questions. Her service was professional and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend having your placenta encapsulated. The capsules helped with Post Partum Depression, physical healing and milk supply.

I read a lot of information on placentophagy. As I couldn't bring myself to eat my placenta, I looked for ways to encapsulate and found Philadelphia Placenta Pills. The experience was great! Amy is so awesome! She began to work seamlessly and was pleasant to be around. I was recovering for 48 hours in the hospital, so I met Amy when she was wrapping things up at my home. The umbilical cord gift was a bonus and the pills were perfectly done. My kitchen was clean and there was no mess. I used the pills immediately. I can't say if they made a tremendous difference, as this was my first child, but I felt pretty good, my waistline shrunk quickly and I had an abundance of milk for my baby. What bleeding I had left stopped within the first week home - just spotting for a few weeks. My husband was very happy with the process, as he was there to greet Amy. My mom thought she was nice and very professional. The whole experience was wonderful and we look forward to calling Amy in the next few years.
